Our Chaplaincy Program integrates the services of Corporate Chaplains of America® to support the spiritual and emotional needs of our employees. With nearly 30 years’ experience assisting workers in all sorts of industries, CCA cares for the whole person, providing crisis support and purpose-driven programming that helps employees live their best lives.

All four processing plants have an on-site Health & Wellness Center available at no cost to our employees and their families, including children as young as two years old, who are enrolled in one of our medical plans. Each location is operated by a third-party provider and staffed by a doctor or nurse practitioner, an RN, and medical assistants. Services include treatment of chronic illnesses and injuries, routine medical exams, vaccinations, lab work, limited on-site medications, support and referral services for mental health and substance abuse, and more.

Mountaire® offers an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to all employees, their spouses, dependent children, parents, and parents-in-law. The program is designed to help employees and their families lead happier and more productive lives at home and at work. This program offers 24/7 online and phone support as well as up to six in-person visits with a Licensed Counselor for addiction, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, grief, and more. In addition, Work/Life Specialists are available to discuss childcare, identity theft, elder care, financial services, debt management, legal questions, and more.

That’s why we offer tuition reimbursement for full-time employees who want to further develop their skills. Eligible pathways include working toward a degree, licensing, or certification program that is related to the employee’s current job duties or a reasonably foreseeable future position within Mountaire.
